I have been fortunate enough to enjoy some of the best schooling this country has to offer. I am very grateful for the education that I have received, but I also realize that education alone does not dictate who you are as a person.

Ph.D., Photonics, Oklahoma State University
May 2005 - December 2008

I conducted my doctoral research at the Chemical, Biological and Energetic Agent Research (CBEAR) Laboratory in the Department of Physics at Oklahoma State University.  The laboratory is headed by Dr. H. James Harmon who is an world-renown expert in the detection of chemical, biological and energetic agents.  My thesis research revolved around the destruction of surplus TNT via a specialized material I developed in the laboratory.

M.S., Natuaral and Applied Science (Photonics), Oklahoma State University
June 2002 - May 2005

My master's research was also conducted in the CBEAR Laboratory and focused on the detection of chemical warfare agents at low-levels. My master's report focused on the theory of hydrophobic/hydrophilic interactions to detect certain chemical warfare agents.

B.S., Chemistry, Xavier University of Louisiana
August 1998 - May 2002

Xavier University will always hold a special place in my heart simply because my experiences there prepared me for my future success. Four years at Xavier not only allowed me to develop personally and intellectually, but also to be a better citizen of the world.
